Second Saturday Shakedown : Subliminal Chaos : Featuring new & older artwork from Andy Reed : June 14, 4-8PM

“There are only patterns, patterns on top of patterns, patterns that affect other patterns. Patterns hidden by patterns. Patterns within patterns.
If you watch close, history does nothing but repeat itself.
What we call chaos is just patterns we haven’t recognized. What we call random is just patterns we can’t decipher. what we can’t understand we call nonsense. What we can’t read we call gibberish.
There is no free will.
There are no variables.”
― Chuck Palahniuk

We are very excited to have our artist of the month, Infinite Geometry: The artwork of Andy Reed, showing his art for the 2nd time here at The Circle Asheville! Click here for our FB event page!

His first solo gallery show was in 2010 at our beautiful store, and his artwork has only gotten way more detailed and impressive since!

Come out on Saturday, June 14th from 4-8pm for the opening reception and check out some of his newest work, as well as older pieces. He’ll have some originals for sale, as well as canvas prints and poster prints available. There will be other vendors with jewelry, clothing, and art… and food & drink available! (Wine for those 21+!)

This will also be a pre-party to the Dave Tipper show later in the evening at New Mountain Asheville for Gratifly Music and Arts Festival!

Music will be provided by:

∆ Third Nature ∆
Third Nature is a beautiful soundscape of melodies and phrases layered over each other and placed upon a thumping bass drum that makes you want to dance in your pants.

Third Nature formed when we met in high school and has evolved and grown as a band ever since. With two-thirds of the group being cousins, the musical connection was nothing new and all it took was the three of us being together to see the creation of a serious musical entity.
Fresh out of college and ready to take on the world, we are getting ready to hit the road to share our passion with the masses, all the while making fresh, new sounds and continuing to explore the sonic capabilities of our collective consciousness.

∆ Infinite Geometry ∆
Infinite Geometry (Andy Reed) has been an auditory alchemist for the past twelve years. His main focus has been his visionary artwork for the past five years, but another deep passion of his has been electronic music. He is currently based out of Asheville, NC and plays shows nationwide, most notably at Alex Grey’s Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM) in New York and at transformational music & art festivals.

His distinct performances cross different forms of music into one story and experiential journey through sound. His sets include, but are not limited to, multiple genres of intelligent electronic music such as: psybient downtempo, tribal chill-out psydub, templestep, IDM, dreambass, post-dubstep, 2step & future garage, minimal atmospheric drum & bass, funky tech-house, and many others.

∆ Ebb & Flow ∆

Yeshua Brown is a Cellular Sound Practitioner who has been working with sound for over a decade. He incorporates vibrational healing in his original music production as Ebb & Flow Live Project and utilizes planetary frequencies in conjunction with organic ensemble of instruments from hung drums to West African drum rhythms. His most notable stage performances have been with The Egg, Mike Rempel of Lotus, Govinda, Rising Appalachia, The Human Experience, Pericles, Soulacybin, Biolumigen, Cualli, and Biomigrant.

Everything in the universe vibrates, from the smallest particles to the planets in our solar system, to the billions of stars in the Milky Way galaxy creating patterns and geometric waveform frequencies, intervals, and sounds. Precision calibrated planetary tuning forks provide sound portals that help us experience and integrate the archetypal qualities and essence of each planet. The offering provided would be an interactive experience that will navigate you through a planetary healing through the power of sound.
